Gettin’ My Game On

First Off, I’d like to apologize for the lack of posts, (not that this site has a lot of visitors or anything,) but I have been busy lately. Recently, though, I purchased Power Game Factory, which is designed for creating side-scrolling shooter games. I am learning how to use it, and already have ideas for several games. The first, which I am currently working on, is named “Psyche,” and you play a telekinetic escapee. (Yes, it sounds somewhat similar to the movie Push, but I was planning this game before I heard of the movie.) The plot is roughly as follows: In the near future, a mysterious organization has kidnapped people from around the globe, and has experimented with them. One of the survivors, code-named Angel, is a success, and acquires telekinetic powers. However, to keep her under control, cybernetic systems have been implanted in her head, and she cannot use her powers unless she has the corresponding access chip. They next intended to wipe her memory, and implant further regulatory circuits, but due to a freak power outage, she managed slip away from her guards and steal a chip. Now she must escape the facility, and shut it down, without getting caught.

I still have quite a bit of work to do on it, but when it is finished, you can try it out!
